Meet our groomers
Hi, my name is Angela and I am the owner of K9 Kuts and Kennels! I began my journey as a Dog Groomer by graduating from Petropoulios Academy of dog grooming in 1998. I remember waking up for my first day as a professional Dog Groomer and saying out loud with a BIG smile on my face “This is what I’ll be doing for the rest of my life!” To this day I still have a big smile on my face when I see my clients and the pups that they bring in. There’s a lot of satisfaction in dog grooming, especially when you see the finished product and have the dogs prance to their owners knowing they look good!
A little bit about me…I’m married to Rob Struckhoff and have 3 amazing kids! We have 5 dogs…..yes 5 dogs and 1 cat.
I opened K9 Kuts in 2000 inside the Animal Hospital of Washington. As my business continued to grow, I realized I needed a bigger facility. Fast forward to 2018, I built my own place and added K9 Kennels! 5 years later I installed doggie turf and added Doggie Daycare! It has been an amazing ride so far!
My favorite breed is the French Bulldog! I love their personalities! My favorite breed to groom would be the ones that don’t bite me!;) In all honesty, I LOVE what I do! I LOVE the girls I work with! I LOVE the business that I created! Dog grooming lets you be creative. All 7 of us girls have our own style and I think that is what makes my shop so unique! We cater to our 4 legged clients! I look forward to seeing new faces walk through that door and see how special K9 Kuts and Kennels truly is.
Hi guys, my name is Nikki Flores. I have 3 kids and 2 dogs and 1 husband. I love working at K9 Kuts because of how much fun i have working and laughing with everyone here every single day.
Overall i have been a groomer for nearly 25 years but I have been grooming here at K9 Kuts for 14 and do not plan on ever working any where else.
My favorite breeds to groom are Pomeranians, labradoodles, and all cats. Fun fact: I am known as the self proclaimed “cat whisperer “. I enjoy doing different or super fancy haircuts and learning new styles. In fact, In the last year i have developed a skill for professional, permanent and semi permanent, dog color. So if you want your poodle pink or your mixed breed to look like a tiger or rainbow zebra get in touch with this girl. I also work with Dr. Smith at the Animal Hospital of Washington one day a month grooming dogs that need sedation for grooming.
The best part of my day is seeing the dogs so happy to see their owners when they are all spiffed up,feeling good, smelling like flowers and the owner so happy too.
My name it’s CeCe and I’m a mom of four girls. I’ve been grooming for over 20 years and I joined the K9 Kuts team in August, 2021 after years of Nikki begging me to come work with her. I’m glad I did because I feel so blessed to work with these girls and get to do what I love. If I had to pick a favorite breed, it would be a beagle.
My favorite part about being a pet groomer is getting to build relationships with the dogs and their owners. I enjoy seeing so much improvement in my furry clients who may otherwise have grooming related anxiety. My goal is to make grooming a positive experience for every dog! I can’t wait to meet many, many more!
Pet groomer since 1995. I previously worked 18 years at a shop in St. Louis and then moved to Washington and have had the pleasure of working at K-9Kuts since 2014.
A groomers job is never dull, and I cannot even begin to think of doing anything other. I can’t say I have a favorite breed. They are all unique and their own way.
But my favorite part about being a groomer is knowing I’m helping a living and feel better.

My name is Haley Haskins and I am a mother to 4 amazing kids.
I have been grooming since 2017 and I love working at K-9 Kuts! My favorite breeds to groom are Australian shepherds and terrier mixes.
My hobbies include spending time with my family, watching my kids play sports, traveling, being outdoors, and watching movies!
Hello, my name is Elicia Mischke my co workers call me Eesh. I have been a dog groomer for 12 years and it is my passion! I used to live and work in Illinois, I moved to union and worked there for about 8 years. I then found my home here at K-9 Kuts !! I love all the girls I work with they are like family. I have worked at K-9 Kuts since December, 2023.
I am married and have two kids a boy and girl ages 3 (almost 4) and a 2 year old. My favorite dog breeds are golden retrievers, Cavalier King Charles spaniels and Poodles ! Although I love all of the breeds.
My favorite part about grooming is seeing the pups feel so good after a spa day and the owners smiling faces once seeing their fur baby all spiffed up !! Look forward to meeting you and your pets !

Hello my name is Kimberly I have one little baby boy, Red, and am expecting our second son in March 2025. I began my grooming career in 2019 and have been working at K9 Kuts since 2021!
My favorite dogs are Australian shepherds and cattle dogs. We currently have two Aussie mixes, one little chocolate lab puppy, and two kitties. When I’m not grooming I’m spending time with my family or cooking and baking.
My favorite part about being a pet groomer is getting to work with animals all day and build relationships with them and their owners. I love getting to see my favorite doggies come in excited to see me again. I also love all the girls I work with and just being at such a great shop with a positive environment!
I have tons of patience for any and all doggies no matter their temperaments and would love to try and give any doggy the best experience they can have !

Hi, my name is Olive and I am the very first shop Dog!
I was born on September 4, 2018. My mom rescued me 6 months later and I have the best life! I get to go to work with her everyday! Some may call me a princess because I get to sleep on my nice comfy dog bed all day while my mom works. My favorite pastime is sitting outside in the sun at work. I love all my Friends at work because they all sneak me treats when my mom’s not looking. I also enjoy moving my bed in the middle of the floor in everyone’s way! Then my mom takes the dog bed and drags it back to the original spot next to her table. It’s like a mini ride and it makes my tummy get butterflies. I will do it multiple times in a row until I get scolded and realize the ride needed to come to an end.
My mom does have the best place in town. There are always so many dogs coming in all the time! I always get my picture taken too for this Best groom shop ad they get every year! I look annoyed, but deep down I enjoy all the attention!
I’m the only shop dog boy!
I was born on May 28, 2022! I’m a little out numbered with all these girls here, but that is ok! I love running around outside in the new yards that were redone in 2023! They are pretty sweet! When I’m ready to go outside I just have to run to Tracy’s station. She opens the window and I jump right outside to the big yard! I’ll wait for Penn to join me so we can play chase! Olive will join too, but she just likes to lay there in the sun which is boring to me! I tend to bark at some of the dogs when they come into the shop. My mom yells at me, but I’m just trying to say hi to them. It just comes off rude! My favorite part is when my friend Matt comes to either drop off his dog or pick him up from daycare. He always lets me jump on him and gives me lots of attention! I’ll do anything for a treat! Just don’t make me catch one in the air….that doesn’t turn out too well for me!
I’m the newest shop dog!
I was born on March 3, 2024! I get to come to work everyday with my mom and go to daycare! That is one of the best parts of the day! Seeing my friends! It doesn’t take me long to get tired. Sometimes I don’t want to go out in the afternoon cause I play all morning! I highly recommend bringing your fur kid to daycare! They would have so much fun!
I too love all the girls at work! They can’t resist my puppy dog eyes and sneak me treats too! I love to be held by everyone! Especially Nikki and Elicia. I know exactly when they are done working cause they start sweeping and just standing doing stuff on their phones. That is my cue to start whining and looking right at them. Once they can’t take my sad little puppy dog face they take me out of the kennel and hold me. I have won once again! My other 2 friends are Alex and Dez! I know when they get me I get to go out and play! They too can’t resist holding me. I hope to make new friends so bring them to my mom’s shop! You won’t regret it!
